[NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COMMUNITY MESSAGING - Northamptonshire West -  15.03.10 - WN12- MV THEFT 3116]

This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents in the Central area of Northampton Town centre of two recent incidents.

Lower Thrift Street - between the hours of 5.40pm and 5.55pm Friday 12 March windows to a parked car were smashed in order to remove a large bag from the passenger footwell.

Hunter Street - between the times of 1pm and 9.55pm Saturday 13 March the front and rear license plates, T278JVM were removed from a vehicle.

Drugs In Our Community

As you know, drugs are NEVER something we should turn our backs on. Drugs can be addictive, even cannabis and many people commit crime in order to get the cash to pay for drugs. There is also the side issue of dirty needles being left lying around the Semilong Community, as what happened recently when some were found outside Castle School.

For that reason, if you know anything about drugs in our community, please let the police know, let us know, or tell Crimestoppers.

This is an issue which must be tackled.
