This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents in the Northampton area.
A countywide campaign will launch on Monday 15 March, sharing with residents the achievements of their local Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRPs).
There are six partnerships across Northamptonshire; each one includes representatives from the county's Borough and District Council, Police, Police Authority, Council, local NHS and Fire and Rescue Service, all working together with a single aim to improve the quality of life of those living in the area.
'Results In My Area' is a campaign celebrating the achievements of what we've achieved working together in partnership to tackle anti-social behaviour and drive down crime across the county.
In Northampton as a result of us working together last year:
·Security assessments of 357 burglary victims and improvements to their security contributed to a 33% reduction in repeat domestic burglary.
·82 victims of domestic violence received security equipment and improved safety measures on their homes allowing them to feel more secure about where they live.
·Over 1,000 elderly and vulnerable residents in South Northampton received security and crime prevention advice as well as free fire safety surveys.
