[NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COMMUNITY MESSAGING - Northamptonshire West - 03.03.10 - WN12 - BURGLARY 2888]

This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents in the central area of Northampton Town of two recent incidents.

The Avenue, Cliftonville - Between the times of 11am Saturday 27 February and 9am Monday 1 March offenders entered a retail premise a stole three gas canisters.

Billing Road - Between the times of 5.30pm Friday 26 February and 9am Monday 1 March the front door lock to a house had been tampered with, entry to the property was unsuccessful.

Drugs In Our Community

As you know, drugs are NEVER something we should turn our backs on. Drugs can be addictive, even cannabis and many people commit crime in order to get the cash to pay for drugs. There is also the side issue of dirty needles being left lying around the Semilong Community, as what happened recently when some were found outside Castle School.

For that reason, if you know anything about drugs in our community, please let the police know, let us know, or tell Crimestoppers.

This is an issue which must be tackled.
