This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to residents in the Central area of Northampton Town of two incidents in Hood Road. 

Around the time of time of 5pm Wednesday 24 and 7.45am Friday 26 February, the aerial of a car was removed, nothing was seen or heard.

Around the time of time of 6pm Wednesday 24 and 8am Thursday 25 February, the aerial of a car was removed, nothing was seen or heard.

Please be aware that there have been several incidents of this kind in this street recently, remain alert and on the look out for suspicious activity.

Drugs In Our Community

As you know, drugs are NEVER something we should turn our backs on. Drugs can be addictive, even cannabis and many people commit crime in order to get the cash to pay for drugs. There is also the side issue of dirty needles being left lying around the Semilong Community, as what happened recently when some were found outside Castle School.

For that reason, if you know anything about drugs in our community, please let the police know, let us know, or tell Crimestoppers.

This is an issue which must be tackled.
