[NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COMMUNITY MESSAGING - Northamptonshire West - 01.02.10 - WB/CMS/2349/09 - WN12 - BURGLARY]

This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents in the Central area of Northampton Town.

Please be aware of a number of incidents that have recently occurred in your area.

Hunter Street - between 16:45 and 19:35 Friday 29 January offenders entered the property by unknown means, conducted an untidy search and removed two laptops, mobile phones and a camera.

Upper Thrift Street - between 14:00 and 15:30 Friday 29 January offenders entered the property through an insecure front door and removed a games console.

Alexandra Road - 22:00 and 22:10 Saturday 30 January offenders smashed a ground floor window to the property and removed a guitar.

Drugs In Our Community

As you know, drugs are NEVER something we should turn our backs on. Drugs can be addictive, even cannabis and many people commit crime in order to get the cash to pay for drugs. There is also the side issue of dirty needles being left lying around the Semilong Community, as what happened recently when some were found outside Castle School.

For that reason, if you know anything about drugs in our community, please let the police know, let us know, or tell Crimestoppers.

This is an issue which must be tackled.
