This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents in the Centre of Northampton Town.

Please be aware that a vehicle parked in St Michaels Avenue was broken in to sometime between 20:00 Monday 18 January and 07:30 Tuesday 19 January and items from the glove box were removed

Please remember to secure all vehicles when not in use, even for the shortest periods of time. Always remove all valuables from your vehicle rather than hide them in the glove box or boot. Ensure any alarms or steering locks fitted are activated when you leave the vehicle, and try to park in a well-lit area if you are unable to park in a secure garage.

Drugs In Our Community

As you know, drugs are NEVER something we should turn our backs on. Drugs can be addictive, even cannabis and many people commit crime in order to get the cash to pay for drugs. There is also the side issue of dirty needles being left lying around the Semilong Community, as what happened recently when some were found outside Castle School.

For that reason, if you know anything about drugs in our community, please let the police know, let us know, or tell Crimestoppers.

This is an issue which must be tackled.
