This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents in the Central area of Northampton Town.
Please be aware of a number of incidents that have recently taken place in your area.
Victoria Promenade - sometime between 09:00 11 December and 11:50 Wednesday 6 January offenders entered the property and removed money from a secure bedroom.
Woodford Street - sometime between 16:00 Friday 8 January and 15:50 Sunday 10 January offenders smashed the passenger side window the vehicle and removed a medial bag hidden under a high - vis jacket.
Kettering Road - sometime between 18:30 and 18:48 Sunday 10 January offenders smashed the front window to a commercial property, reached in and attempted to remove a LDC television.
Please remember to secure all vehicles when not in use, even for the shortest periods of time. Remember to remove all valuables from your vehicles rather than hide them in the boot or glove box, activate alarm systems where fitted and use steering locks. Always try to park in well-lit and visible areas is you cannot park in a secure garage.
