[NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COMMUNITY MESSAGING - Northamptonshire West - 14.12.09 - WB/CMS/1637/09  - WN12 - BURG/VEHICLE]

This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents in the Central area of Northampton Town.

Please be aware that a vehicle in Palmerston Road was broken in to at around 17:30 Sunday December 13. In this incident the male offender smashed the window to the vehicle and removed a disabled badge.

The man was described as white, approximately 18 years old, was wearing light grey jeans, a dark jumper, navy beanie hat with a grey stripe and black trainers.

In an unrelated incident a property in Colwyn Road was broken in to sometime between 20:00 Friday 11 December and 08:00 Saturday 12 December. In this incident the offenders smashed the glass in the front door and removed items.

Drugs In Our Community

As you know, drugs are NEVER something we should turn our backs on. Drugs can be addictive, even cannabis and many people commit crime in order to get the cash to pay for drugs. There is also the side issue of dirty needles being left lying around the Semilong Community, as what happened recently when some were found outside Castle School.

For that reason, if you know anything about drugs in our community, please let the police know, let us know, or tell Crimestoppers.

This is an issue which must be tackled.
