[NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COMMUNITY MESSAGING - Northamptonshire West - 10.12.09 - WB/CMS/1594/09 - WN12 -  BURGLARY]

This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents in the Central area of Northampton Town centre.

Please be aware that a property in Bidders Close was broken in to sometime between 10:30 and 14:00 Wednesday 9 December. In this incident the offenders forced open a ground floor door and entered the property. Once inside the offender conducted a tidy search of the living room and kitchen and removed a laptop bag and a games console.

Drugs In Our Community

As you know, drugs are NEVER something we should turn our backs on. Drugs can be addictive, even cannabis and many people commit crime in order to get the cash to pay for drugs. There is also the side issue of dirty needles being left lying around the Semilong Community, as what happened recently when some were found outside Castle School.

For that reason, if you know anything about drugs in our community, please let the police know, let us know, or tell Crimestoppers.

This is an issue which must be tackled.
