[NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COMMUNITY MESSAGING - Northamptonshire West - 26.11.09 - WB/CMS/1434/09 - WN12 - BURGLARY]

This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents in the Central area of Northampton Town.

Please be aware that a property in Colwyn Road was broken in to sometime between 09:00 and 17:00 Wednesday 25 November. In this incident the offenders forced open the rear ground floor french windows to gain access to the property. A neighbour witnessed the offenders entering the property and called the police. The offenders were arrested at the property.

Please remain vigilant if you see anything suspicious, or anything that concerns you please report using the dedicated Watch number, alternatively contact Northamptonshire West Police or Crimestoppers quoting reference below.

Drugs In Our Community

As you know, drugs are NEVER something we should turn our backs on. Drugs can be addictive, even cannabis and many people commit crime in order to get the cash to pay for drugs. There is also the side issue of dirty needles being left lying around the Semilong Community, as what happened recently when some were found outside Castle School.

For that reason, if you know anything about drugs in our community, please let the police know, let us know, or tell Crimestoppers.

This is an issue which must be tackled.
