[NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COMMUNITY MESSAGING - Northamptonshire West - 13.11.09 - WB/CMS/1276/09 - WN12 BURGLARY]

This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all members of Neighbourhood Watch in the Central area of Northampton Town.

Please be aware that a property on the Wellingborough Road was broken in to sometime between 11:50 and 16:00 Thursday 12 November. In this incident the offenders entered the rear of the property giving access to the residential area. Once inside the offenders forced open the bedroom door with bodily pressure and removed a mobile phone and a camera.

Drugs In Our Community

As you know, drugs are NEVER something we should turn our backs on. Drugs can be addictive, even cannabis and many people commit crime in order to get the cash to pay for drugs. There is also the side issue of dirty needles being left lying around the Semilong Community, as what happened recently when some were found outside Castle School.

For that reason, if you know anything about drugs in our community, please let the police know, let us know, or tell Crimestoppers.

This is an issue which must be tackled.
