This is a message from Northamptonshire West Police to all residents in the Central are of Northampton Town Centre.
Please be aware that tow vehicles in your area we recently broken in to.
Billing Road - between 19:30 Sunday 11 October and 08:05 Monday 12 October offenders smashed the driver's side window and stolen a number of CD's from within the vehicle.
Talbot Street - between 19:00 Friday 9 October and 08:00 Saturday 10 October offenders smashed the front passenger side window and conducted an untidy search but did not remove any items from within.
Residents are reminded to secure all vehicles when not in use, even for the shortest periods of time. Please remove valuables rather than hide them in the boot or glove box, activate alarm systems where fitted and use steering locks. If you are able to remove the front panel of vehicle stereos please do so when you leave the vehicle unattended.
Residents are asked to remain vigilant, if you see any one acting suspiciously or anything that concerns you please do report using the dedicated NHW
